Images Webscan is an image downloading tool that may help you grab a large number of images automatically from a given web site or web page. Its batch capabilities will allow you to provide this tool with a list of URLs and let it do all the work for you. It will download all GIF, PNG, BMP, and JPG images present in the web site, with exactly the same resolution and size of the original image files.
The only real limitations of this tool are image file formats and their downloading permissions. Images Webscan will not grab any image which has been protected by the author of the site – this application is not an “image ripper”, but a practical tool that will save you the tedious task of right-clicking on every image on a web site, first to find out if they can or cannot be downloaded, and then to actually save them into your system.
You can really appreciate all its beauty when downloading hundreds of images from a dozen different web sites. There, you can feed it with your list of URLs, and sit while the program creates a specific folder for each set of images (each with the name of the scanned web site), thus helping you to keep your images collection organized.
It includes a number of useful customization options which will allow you to select the type of images you want to download and the type of pages you want the program to scan for you, just by leaving out the unwanted file extensions. Finally, you can also tell the program the number of levels you allow it to go down into the link structure to find the images you need.
